OPD stands for Out Patient Department. This is where one consults a doctor according to their issues. Outpatient means patients who are not admitted to the hospital. These are synonymous with doctor’s chambers. It is the same as taking an appointment and visiting a doctor’s chamber, just here, the “chambers” are under the hospital’s banner and one takes the appointment, on reaching the hospital, from the reception, whereas you might have to take prior appointment while visiting a doctor in a chamber. SIDDHAM ENT HOSPITAL has a Centralized Ac OPD waiting area with a capacity of 70 seating’s. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Intensive Care or Critical Care refers to the special treatment given to patients who suffer from a serious medical problem. There are highly trained doctors, nurses and other health care professionals working in ICU. Among the many people you will see is the intensives (a specialist doctor in ICU). A critical care nurse is usually assigned to care for one or two patients at a time and has constant access to information about the patient. Visiting is restricted to immediate family members only, however if the family wishes other people to visit the patient, please speak to the nurse first. Visiting hours for the HDU are the same as the hospital visiting hours; however ICU patients may have immediate family visit at anytime. Please do not bring children without speaking to the nurse first. NRI/INTERNATIONAL PATIENT: Medical Tourism is defined as the concept of travelling to destination away from home for obtaining medical care. Due to various reasons, such as better accessibility, lower cost, reduced wait time etc. Are you an International Patient? Need ENT treatment at most affordable package.
